meet and greet

greetings from sometimes sunny island of sri lanka. monsoon season is upon us and its been raining gallons. been catching up with the relatives and revisiting the food that i've missed. take my advise for those of u who might someday tie the knot, elope- its kinder on the wallet and ur saved the trouble of the many sqaubbles that are bound to occur when deciding on issues such as colour and food. god. i just wanna officially become mrs mahamooth, i don't give two hoots what flowers you put with the black n mustard tablecloth!sigh. i think i need a massage. the fact that my wisdom tooth is playing up isn't helping.

thus we've chosen the location for the registration dinner as well as the menu. we're also catering a meet and greet dinner at one of my aunt's place. we'll be checking out a few hotels for the wedding banquet next yr as well as looking into invitations and bridesmaids stuff. lucky imthie, he'll be here on the 31st when most of the leg work would've already been done.

oh! i forgot. i met imthie's family the day after we arrived. i know it's highly unconventional to not have met ur intented husband's folks till a few days before you get married. but well as azira said convetional is boring.i was so nervous before but we got on famously. they've got a cat like princess too! i've got pictures but unfortunately no usb cable so it'll have to wait.one of my biggest concers at the moment is that my cousins will inflict too much bodily harm on imthie when gets here. i'm hoping too that we get thru this without my mother having a nervous breakdown. pray for us..missing you guys la!!
